The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for about 16 hours. After completion of the reaction (monitored by TLC), the reaction mixture was diluted with water (50 ml) and extracted with EtOAc (3×50 ml). The combined organic extracts were dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silicagel column chromatography by using 5% methanol in DCM as an eluent to obtain the desired product (0.65 g, 49% yield) as a white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): delta ppm 7.36 (m, 5H), 6.49 (s, 1H), 5.12, 5.06 (ABq, 2H), 4.48-4.30 (m, 4H), 3.20-3.08 (m, 4H), 3.0-2.80 (m, 3H), 2.34 (s, 3H), 2.22-2.03 (m, 4H), 2.02-1.73 (m, 11H), 1.70-1.33 (m, 10H), 1.32-1.20 (m, 10H), 1.20-1.12 (m, 6H), 1.07-0.98 (m, 6H), 0.91 (s, 3H), 0.88-0.78 (m, 11H).
