The mixture was stirred at room temperature under nitrogen and the solids were gradually dissolved. The contents were stirred at room temperature for 24.0 h, and then slowly diluted into iced water and extracted with DCM (2 x 50 mL). The DCM phase was washed with ice cold water (2 x 100 mL). The DCM phase was dried over anhydrous Na2S04, concentrated under reduced pressure and chromatographed on silica gel using MeOH and DCM (2:98) as eluents to get the desired amide 7 (170.9 mg, 37 % yield) as a white solid compound. -NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-de): <514.76-14.65 (m, 1H), 9.15 (br s, 1H), 8.48 (br s, 1H), 7.23 (t, J= 8 Hz, 1H), 6.90-6.88 (m, 2H), 6.82-6.80 (m, 1H), 4.43 (d, J= 6 Hz, 2H), 3.73 (s, 3H) ppm.
