To prepare nano-sized [Mn(L)2(H2O)2] (1), 50ml solution of manganese(II) chloride tetrahydrate (0.1molL-1) in water was positioned in a high-density ultrasonic probe, operating at 40kHz with a maximum power output of 305W. Into this solution water a 50ml solution of the ligand 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxylic acid (0.1molL-1) and potassium hydroxide (0.01molL-1) were added dropwise.
