To a mixture containing 2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one (307 mg, 3.6 mmol) and potassium carbonate (250 mg, 1.8 mmol) in DMF ( 10 mL) at 90 C was incrementally added 4 (150 mg, 0.36 mmol) over 3 hrs. Then the mixture was stirred for 2 days and then cooled to RT and diluted with 50 mL of water and extracted with (3× 10 m) ethylacetate, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered, dried and concentrated under reduced pressure to give a brown residue. The required product 11c was isolated by reverse phase column chromatography with 29 % of acetonitrile-water mixture. The desired product was obtained as white solid, 21 % yield. 1H NMR (399 MHz, DMSO-d6) delta 11.71 (s, 1H), 7.85 (s, 1H), 7.51 (t, J = 8 Hz, 1H), 7.49 (dd, J = 8, 4 Hz, 1H), 7.15 (dd, J = 8, 4 Hz, 1H), 4.95-4.92 (m, 1H), 4.16 (t, J = 8 Hz, 1H), 3.98-3.85 (m, 3H).
