Water and EtOAc were added. Organic phase was separated, washed with aq. 1N NaOH, dried over Na2SO4, concentrated in vacuo to give tert-butyl (1S,2R)-2-(5-(3-(2H-1,2,3-triazol-2-yl)phenylamino)-6-cyanopyridin-3-ylarnino)cyclohexylcarbamate, which was then dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (5 mL). The solution was allowed to stand for 2 h. Excess of trifluoroacetic acid was removed in vacuo. The residue was purified by HPLC to give 3-(3-(2H-1,2,3-triazolyl)phenylamino)-5-((1R,2S)-2-aminocyclohexy]amino)picolinonitrile (70 mg).
